Bandmaster Harold Nobes

The legendary Bandmaster Harold Nobes who had led Portsmouth Citadel Band with such great distinction came out of retirement to play a major part in the formation of the Solent Fellowship Band in 1996 and became the first Bandmaster, remaining in that position until 1998. Harold retained his interest in the Band and acted as deputy bandmaster for a number of years. He was promoted to Glory in 2004.
